To provide high quality support to the Nurse Care Coordinator through scheduling and tracking medical appointments, ensuring medication compliance, and training CPR to CCC employees.

Essential Functions:
The SRNA operates under the supervision of the Nurse Care Coordinator (NCC).
- Schedule medical appointments for CCC youth as directed by the NCC.
- Track medical appointments on Excel spreadsheet to ensure compliance with DCBS regulations.
- Enter vital signs into EMR.
- Create and post signs for medication changes and medical alerts in all CCC group homes.
- Retrieve medication from pharmacies and deliver to group homes.
- Print monthly Medication Administration Records (MARS) and once approved by NCC or Certified Medical Assistant, place in group homes.
- Conduct monthly audits of medication timers.
- Complete medication counts.
- Maintain medical files, logs, and documentation related to the medical care of CCC youth.
- Assist in creation and maintenance of Medical Passports.
- Upload all medication documents into the EMR.
- Conduct monthly training of CPR/ First Aid with Certified Medical Assistant.
- Assist the NCC with monthly wellness checks on youth and document accordingly.
- Maintain Safe Crisis Management certification and assist youth to medical appointments as needed.
- Attend telehealth appointments with the youth at school or in the group home when directed.
- Attend all required agency meetings.

Qualifications:
- Must be credentialed as a State Registered Nurse Aide in the state of Kentucky.
- Minimum one year of experience.
- Experience in psychiatric, residential, and/or adolescent care is strongly preferred.
Work Environment:
This job primarily operates from the Lexington Office. The Nurse Aide will be required to travel to the group home settings as deemed necessary in order to carry out all job duties effectively. Employee must be able to travel to our three group home locations: Lexington, Nicholasville or Georgetown. A work cell phone and laptop will be issued for this role.
