Need More Information?

At Key Assets Kentucky, volunteers are an important part of creating safe, nurturing, and supportive homes for the youth we serve. Whether you have a green thumb, a creative talent, or a gift for organization, there’s a place for you here.

We welcome volunteers in a variety of roles:

  • Landscape Volunteers – Twice a year, help refresh our residential group homes with weeding, planting flowers, and adding curb appeal.
  • Music & Art Volunteers – Share your talents by leading creative sessions that give our youth new outlets for self-expression.
  • Organizers – Assist with sorting school supplies, organizing household items, and creating spaces that feel like home.

Because we serve vulnerable populations, safety is our priority. Some roles require volunteers to be 21+, have a HS/GED, complete a background check, and share basic information about their interests.

We do have a few requirements as we provide services to vulnerable populations, their safety is our priority. Depending on the type and location of the volunteer activity, we may require that our volunteers be at least 21 years old and have completed HS/GED, complete an extensive background check, and share some basic information about themselves and their interests.
